About ME
My name is Ashley and I'm a communications professional. From my years in journalism, public relations, and marketing, I have honed my skills as a storyteller and a content strategist.
I work with individuals, businesses, and organizations across all industries to build messaging that effectively tells their stories and furthers their missions. I am dedicated to learning about each client's unique needs and vision as part of helping them achieve their goals and take their initiatives to new heights.

MY STORY
I grew up outside of Boston and studied magazine journalism and geography at Syracuse University. It was then that I realized storytelling has immense power to make change – and that I wanted to use my innate curiosity and outgoing personality to become a communicator.

Since graduating in 2010, I have brought my passion and expertise in writing, PR, and marketing to a variety of nonprofits, companies, and publications around the country.
I have written articles, edited content, and taken photos for publications like Edible: Monterey Bay and Cape Cod Life. I revitalized and modernized the public relations and social media programs for the global nonprofit Oldways. I directed health IT public relations accounts at Aria Marketing. And I conceptualized and co-produced journalistic films and related events for Moonshine Ink.
I currently live in Santa Cruz, CA where I enjoy spending time outdoors with my dog, pursuing creative projects, making music, mountain biking, rock climbing, cooking, and having bonfires on the beach.
